Nestled in the heart of Ormskirk, the building that is now home to Lost & Found holds a rich and fascinating past that always seems to come up with our local customers. Built in the 1850's, this grade II listed building once served as the local magistrates court before becoming a police station.
In the 1970's, the building was granted a change of use and quickly garnered a reputation as a cornerstone of social life here in Ormskirk under a different name; The Café Bar.
Many of our locals still recall fond memories in The Café Bar, and we love hearing your stories. Despite many changes to the building, none quite captured the essence of this town quite like The Café Bar did - until now.
We opened the doors to Lost & Found on the 23rd June 2022 with the building’s new owner Carolyn, who had the main aim of recapturing the spark that used to bounce around the walls of this building all those years ago. With live music every weekend, a warm and friendly atmosphere, and our gorgeous botanical themed venue, we hope you enjoy your time at L&F, and we promise that our team will work tirelessly to ensure you can begin to build new memories with us, in our gorgeous building in the heart of Ormskirk.
